Goblin Gate.
The land is a mere mountain ridge at the end of the world. There are no roads and there are no towns. Only things that walk cannot survive here.
As the most merciless region of the Lands Between, it is a place in which goblins and orcs thrive and destroy whole towns with the blood of thousands.
There are a few clans of goblins in Goblin Gate, but the goblins that have been the bloodiest are a band known as the Grim Horde, whose leader has been dubbed the Grim King.
The High Chaos boss wields the power of the Chaos Tree. His name is Bloodglitter.
Grim King’s base is a swamp deep within the mountain ridge.
Grim King was the leader of the goblin raiders who attacked the Dark Elf village.
When the adventurer Alvina came to Goblin Gate, the Grim Horde massacred all the elven heroes and took away the villagers’ children, and the goblins seized all the cattle.
Then they chased Alvina to her village, where the adventurer escaped.
Alvina cut a path through the hostile goblin territory by herself to travel to the Dark Elf village, where she died.
Three years have passed since that day, but Alvina’s spirit still lingers in the village…
This is a record of the story of Alvina of the Dark Elf village.
This record is a special one. While it is not a story arc, it was told by Alvina herself.
The reason why I decided to make a story arc out of it was because I thought it would be interesting to portray a story that is unknown to players, with the protagonist being yourself. And I thought I could make the protagonist a person with a strong personality.
I don’t know how it would play out in other languages or versions, but in the English version, we could make the protagonist a female adventurer, and have her face the goblins and orcs that attack Dark Elf villages by herself.
In other words, the story is about a female adventurer who fights in order to find her way, the path of her own story.
