Here’s a story about a man who became an Elden Lord:
His name was Tarnished. This man who disappeared for half a year due to an accident was known for a certain incident. He travelled to the Lands Between to find those who were called the Elden Lords. The Lands Between were born from a myth and had many places that people would never visit in their lives. Now the man who found himself there desired to become an Elden Lord, even though there were no one there that he had met yet.
He went into a huge dungeon, where no one had ever gone before, believing that, possibly, this is how people visit the Lands Between…
However, it was a deserted journey, and the single-file path ended… and he walked through the wall.
This is the opening sequence of Tarnished’s Story (Trial Version).
Tarnished crashed into someone, and heard a woman’s cries of pain. Then he passed through the wall again, opened his eyes, and found that he was with a woman whose face was covered with blood.
The woman gasped for breath, “We are cut off from the one we need. Our people are in danger. We have to run away from here. What happened to you in there… and what are you doing here?”
She was a person whose energy and vision of life would be sufficient, and whose fate was destined to move her. Tarnished was happy to see her even in this unforgiving moment.
“I apologize. I had already left when I met you.”
“I’m glad to hear that, but what happened to you?” She said concernedly.
This person is indeed a woman, but her appearance was different from a human’s, and in fact, his eyes turned to black and spread out. “Ah, right. I take it you were the one called the Elden Queen, right?”
“Elden Queen…? Oh, what’s with you, you look like someone I know…”
“Oh, right! I’m glad that you know about me! I’m Tarnished, Tarnished, the Elden Lord’s first disciple.”
“You are? Oh, that’s a good name. Well, at any rate, why are you here? Why did you meet with someone with a bloodstained face?”
