Passing arguments to function called via *func(*args, **kwargs) – python
I’m writing a wrapper function that has to accept a function and its arguments as argument list.
Currently I’m using
def func(*args, **kwargs):
return wrapped(*args, **kwargs)
and
wrapped(func, *args, **kwargs)
But this doesn’t really “pass the args to wrapped” and just passes the *args and **kwargs to wrapped.
Is there a way to pass the args? I was hoping that I could just do
func(*args, **kwargs)
or
func(*args, **kwargs, *args, **kwargs)
so that I can pass those as arguments to wrapped.

I’d like to know why the sheriff’s office at the Town of Ogunquit has not made it a policy to keep records of police activity. I know the office is short-staffed right now, but I also know that things like this have happened in the past.
I’ve been reading various articles and websites online about the issue of destroying evidence by police officers. Some of the officer’s explanations are very reasonable. I’ve also heard some very emotional, even crazy excuses from officers.
The issues involved are complex, and I’m not trying to try to have a law enforcement officer tell me what I should and shouldn’t do. But, if you are involved in law enforcement, I’d like to know why the Town of Ogunquit, where I live, has not made a policy in the past regarding this.
